ATIKA Styles Beauty Salon

Sonseeahray--Morning Star-- is a certified Advanced Cosmetologist and Cosmetologist Instructor recognized by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Science Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. My extensive experience with Dudley’s hair, skin, and makeup products, combined with certifications in KeraCare, Nioxin, Wahl, MIZANI, CND Shellac, Pravana, Ardell, and ChromaSilk hair color, equips me with an in-depth understanding of product effectiveness and the unique challenges present in today’s diverse beauty landscape.

I excel at identifying and addressing complex issues related to the scalp, hair, nails, and skin. My recommendations are precise and tailored to each client’s specific needs, ensuring results that eliminate the guesswork often associated with beauty treatments.

I provide comprehensive services for women, men, and children, leveraging my deep knowledge of how various beauty products perform and the results clients can expect. My offerings include facials, makeup application, manicures, pedicures, hair coloring, haircuts, body wrapping, cold wave treatments, relaxers, permanent waves, press and curl, silk press, eyelash application, epilation (including eyebrow arching), keratin treatments, conditioning treatments, and specialized hair and scalp treatments.

Education is a non-negotiable part of my profession; I commit to attending approximately 3 classes annually to remain at the forefront of the industry. My dedication to continual learning ensures that I provide the highest level of expertise and service to my guests.

To provide exceptional hair care services to women of color in their local neighborhoods, particularly on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio, utilizing high-quality professional beauty products.

While some may define ATIKA Styles as a black beauty salon, this label does not fully represent our offerings. We provide a wide range of beauty services, including natural hair care, chemical treatments, nail care, body wrapping, haircuts, and hair extensions. Our experienced team has worked with clients from over eight different nationalities, including Asian, Caribbean, Egyptian, European, German, Jamaican, Mexican, Nigerian, Puerto Rican, Russian, and Zambian, among others.
